Is it possible...........?

Ok my mother miscarried twins before she was pregnant with me... So does that mean that they run in my family? She was adopted so we dont know our blood... I am about to be put on Clomid and was wondering if twins did run in my family... Will Clomid cause twins? Or increase odds.... No bashing and only want opinions... Thanks
