We need $2,500 fast...

To pay off debt before it ruins our credit and they go after the full amount (like almost $10,000). If we can't get a personal loan through our bank, how else can we get it? I hate asking my family for money...

  • in the past we had to take a loan out against one of our vehicles, we still owed on it so we combined the reamining amount with the $3000 we needed (not for bills had to fix a heating system that went bad in the middle of a bad winter with 10 inches of snow on the ground) and the loan company sent a check to the original creditor paid off the car and cut us a check for the amount over that we needed. check smaller loan companies near you sometimes they can help you, one i know of is called american general finance and they are really nice and helpful not sure if you have one in your area.

  • You might have to ask family. Much better than paying the full 10,000 or maybe you have a credit card to put it on. Good luck

  • Oh we get letters all the time saying if we now owe the full amount, but we just call them and talk with them and pay them SOMETHING and they are good at working with us during our hardships, so try that.

  • I think that you need more than cash. The Dept of Justice has put together a database of credit counseling/debt consolidation orgs with the DOJ stamp of approval- http://www.usdoj.gov/ust/eo/bapcpa/ccde/

  • You didn't say how fast but I have a book that can help you not only get the cash but never have to worry about money ever again. It is Cash In A Flash. How To Make Fast Cash In Slow Times by Mark Victor Hansen and Robert Allen. Please take this book seriously. Your life can change in an instant. God bless!
