Why are they hypocrites?

Have you ever noticed how many magazines and talk shows try to "promote" women being happy with their size, no matter if it is a 00 or 20? ...but they never take the extra step as to use plus size or even "average" (national average is size 12 or 14) models! Why??

  • They do. Dove has add's in the magazines of normal sized women who are sizes 12-15. The thing is; they call them plus size models. So they are pretty much saying that the average woman is plus sized which kinda defeats the whole purpose of putting normal sized women in magaines, don't you think?

  • Oprah is all over the TV and she isn't petite, neither is Rachel Ray. If you posses inner beauty, talent and have charisma you could be in the TV or magazines. I don't think that is an all or nothing approach.
