  • i honestly think that they are always there, just reduced in size and pain if you take the proper steps. like taking a stool softener, eating lots of fiber, drinking lots of water. i had a HUGE one, it was so bad and painful. i felt it rubbing between my cheeks when i walked- thats how bad it was. that was on top of having MORE, internal and external. to help it id put an ice cube wrapped in a washcloth on it and also hemmorroid ointment afterwards. hope this helps.

  • Yep, they stay for a while. Use the ointment and let the water run over it. Use baby wipes when you make a poo so you get the area clean with minimal irritation. They do eventually stop bothering you though. Also fiber and lots of water so your pipes don't get clogged!!
