What are you putting in your 21 month old's stocking??

I can't find a thing to put in her stocking (except candy) and I don't give my kids a whole lot of that anyway. So can you ladies give me some ideas on what a good stocking stuffer would be for a 21 month old! Thanks so much =D

  • Oh oh!! My son isn't 21 months, he's only 13 months but the other day when I was at Target they had the CUTEST little wooden cars, trains and airplanes in the dollar spot. I bought 9 of them to stick in my son's stocking - cheap, cute, and I think he'll play with them for a long time to come.
I have 3 older kids too and we never put much candy in their stocking. When they were little I would go to the Dollar Store and find some small toys or put things like coloring books, crayons, etc - inexpensive little things.

  • I have a 26 month old, but would still put many of the same items in a 21 month old's stocking. We will do some small things like missanc mentioned. We also use our stockings for practical items. He will get a new toothbrush, some tooth paste, maybe a DVD with Dora, or another cartoon, a small book.

You can also do a pack of crayons, bubbles, arts and craft supplies (google eyes, glue stick, etc.), stickers, crazy straws (perhaps with a favorite character on it), or a container of playdough.

Does that give you any ideas?

  • I have 21 month old twin girls, and so far for their stockings I have: notebooks and crayons (they LOVE to write!), individual packs of animal crackers, teddy grahams, etc, new toothbrushes, balls....I'll probably do some hair accessories, maybe some nail polish (just getting into the girly stage), maybe a tiny doll...I don't have a Target so I can't shop their $1 section :( but I do shop on the cheap for stocking stuffers!!
