Can I drive myself home after an MRI?

I need to have one done today at 5:00 . Can I drive after this?

  • Yes, there is nothing that could affect driving that goes on during an MRI

  • It won't make you feel any different than an x-ray. Have you ever had one? Maybe at a dentist? It's not at all invasive, just noisy and may make you claustrophobic.

  • Yes you can. I just recently had one done and was able to drive home after wards with no problem.

  • You should be ok. GL, I am sure the weather will be ok too. It is almost like 60 in NJ.
