Why do my hands and feet get/stay freezing cold every winter?

I know how to deal with them. I just want to know what causes it.

  • Thats funny you asked because just this morning as I was piling socks on my feet and considering doing the same for my hands I was thinking about asking the same question on here. Im not sure why either but I know every winter my feet and hands are freezing cold but nothing else is. Its weird.

  • For me it is a circulation thing. I have started buying smart wool socks ( I get them at REI) and they are great if a little pricey. Something else to try is massage thick lotion on your feet and hands a few times a day to help get the blood flowing.
