i'm 34 weeks and i've been feeling really bad pains all day they feel like really bad cramps... they go and come away. the duration time last about 30-40 seconds & and the frequency is about 4-6 min?? please help is this normal?

how can i tell if there real or not..

  • its contractions you should go get checked out

  • could be contractions or braxton hicks. Call your doctor so they can figure out which one. Braxton hicks make it hard because you don't know if your in labor or not.

  • if its been going on all day and you can time it then i would say they are real..braxtin hicks arent the same

  • Ive experienced the same thing when i was about to go in. i thought it was contractions but the nurse said it was pressure pains from the baby pushing down and getting into position. i would grab a big cup of water and walk around until you cant take it anymore. then head to the ER. GL

  • there so painful!! but my back isn't hurting and i haven't lost my mucus plug.. can they still be real contractons?

  • i agree with the other ladies, 34 weeks is too early for having a baby. Go to the hospital.

  • Go. Hospital. Now.
    Labor is not he same for women. Just because your back doesn't hurt doesn't mean you're not in labor. And yes, you are early so you need to be seen, NOW!
