What can you do about a baby with REALLY Sweaty feet?????

My 7 month old has the sweatiest feet I have ever seen!! She will soak through her little socks and God forbid that I leave shoes on her for too long...And yes, sometimes they do stink!

Anybody else have/had this problem? Anything that you did to make it better?

  • If you have to have her feet covered, sprinkle a little baking soda in her socks or footies.

  • I would stay away from shoes. She doesn't need them until she walks. Powder does sound like a good idea. My son also has stinky feet. He is 4. Crocs are good for him because they don't smell!

  • ditto mompam.

my kids have sweaty feet too. just don't make them wear anything unless you're going out.

make sure that when you do put something on its a good absorbant sock - cotton's good. it'll wick away the moisture.

sandals and plastics and 'nonporous' materials are horrible for sweaty feet - fungus and moisture thrive, and then they stink.
