  • Well mine started at birth. I just depends on your child. She will use it when she wants to.

  • I didn't see any point of a pillow for the babies. They slept perfectly well without. But when they started with allergies and drippy noses, then a pillow did help direct the dripping downward. I'd say maybe about a year we started putting pillows in their beds.

  • Pillows are not good for kids. Many kids kick off blankets so just make sure her pajamas are warm.

  • My babies have had blankets from day 1. My oldest got a pillow shortly after 2. Her pediatrician recommended waiting til atleast 18 months-2 years before introducing pillows because neck control is still immature.

  • I guess I just thought that a pillow would only help with the SIDS thing. My baby is only 6 months old but I never gave her a pillow. Then she got H1N1 (so said the doctor) and she had HORRIBLE congestion. I used two king sized pillows and stacked them up, so they fit the width of the crib and almost sat her up rather than lay her head down on the pillows. I only did that until she could breathe again because she's such a sleep wiggler. As for blankets, she liked swaddling for a couple of months. She likes a blanket before she sleeps but throws it off later in the night. I try to make sure she has warm jammies. I'd say don't worry about it until she asks for them. Hehe.

  • From birth, lol. I coslept and didn't remove my pillows or blankets like some experts say to do. When they switched over to their own cribs they took their own little blankets. They got their own pillows at 9 months because they kept sleeping on stuffed animals so I got them one and they love their pillows still to this day.
