How can I add more humidity to my home?

Without a vaporizer or humidifier... any ideas?

  • Put bowls of water in front of your heater vents throughout the house. It really helps. I have to do this all winter. Just keep filling the bowl with water.

  • I just use a cold air humidifier for my dd's room. It has a dim blue light on it and she loves it. Walgreens brand I believe.

  • Sometimes when it gets really bad in my house I just boil a huge pot of water on the stove (and keep an eye on it of course to make sure it doesn't get too low). That really helps, plus it's cheap and easy!
