  • That is what they are supposed to do. You can use fabric stiffener to help, but it doesn't help that much.

  • stocking knit rolls no matter what you do. You could try putting an edge around it but it's still going to roll. It's better to do scarves in garter stitch (knit every row). It will lay flat then.
