A Yummy Stuffed Maraschino Cherry Dessert...Try it! You might like it! Guests may love it too!

It's a simple, but a bit messy treat to make!

2-3 Pkgs cream cheese ( room temp softened )

2-4 Jars Maraschino Cherries (save the juice from the jars!)

2-3 CUPS finely chopped pecans

Mix the pecans into the cream cheese and whip to a smoother consistancy, adding a bit of the Maraschino cherry juice to flavor the cream cheese mixture.

Once blended, on a foil lined flat baking try, place the one half of the cherries on the tray and then top them with the cream cheese and pecan mixture.

Then place the other half of the cherry on top. Chill in fridge for an hour, covered with foil.

Then serve to guests, chilled! Eat and enjoy!

**Add as much cherry juice as needed for flavoring. I buy the cherry juice separate from the store at Publix** Just not TOO wet of a mixture!

It's like a liquid topping for icecream, or to make cherry pepsi too!

I buy 3-4 jars at

  • I have another one. Mix chopped marachino cherries into softened cream cheese or marshmallow fluff. Add a little of the cherry juice to help make it spreadable. Spread on the back of a Nilla Wafer, top with another wafer. Dip half the wafer sandwich in melted chocolate. Let set. The wafers get cakey and it is sooo yummy.
