If I took a home pregnancy test could I get a false positive because it could possibly be the menopause and not a pregnancy?

  • When I got pregnant I took 3 home tests. they all came out +. I was on BC so I didnt believe it. I called 4 different doctors and all of them told me there cannot be a false +.

  • Menopause does not produce pregnancy hormone.

    The only way to get a false positive is to take fertility drugs that tamper with your hcg levels or to misread an evaporation (colorless ghost line) line as a positive.
