would you give them this present now?

bought another family's baby a christmas present. it was not wrapped and still in the box cause we were giong to add in something for the parents and put it all together. my toddler found it in the closet and ripped open the side of the box. i taped it back together but now it looks like we bought the one on clearance or something cause it has a ripped box. would you give it to them now?

  • Yes , All you have to do is say that your child found it in the closet adn tried to open it.
    Also it wouldnt matter if you did buy something on clearance

  • Sure. I'd say something like "I must have picked something good because Simon tried to get at it!" or "Simon was trying to test it out to make sure it was safe..." People with children understand that these things happen :)

  • Sure. What's the problem with buying stuff on clearance? Just about everything on our house was bought on clearance.

  • yes. let them know that your little one discovered it and tried to open the package. Anyone with kids would understand. And what difference does it matter if you paid full price, got it on sale or clearence? Seriously? Who cares it's the thought that counts.
