How do I get my son to pick his own nose?

He caught me picking mine last night and now he keeps trying to pick mine.. but I really don't want him to. He is not gentle about it.

  • Why would you want him to pick his own? That's a dirty habit. Mostly because if you put germs in your nose, you will get sick. You should both stop picking your nose and use a tissue. I would buy some boxes of tissue and put them around the house. Model good tissue use and your son will be soon to follow ;)

  • You WANT him to pick his nose? I've spent years telling my children NOT to pick their noses.

  • Well, Miss Anonymous, maybe you should tell him that you can pick your nose, and you can pick your friends, but you can't pick your friend's nose. And that includes you. (Maybe next time, hide in the bathroom when you're searching for buried treasure)

  • Um gross....that's the most disgusting habit to have and a good way to get sick. Don't teach him how to pick his and pick yours in the bathroom when he's not there. yuk
