Can an urgent care facility deny you treatment if you don't have health insurance?

  • If it's Urgent care then YES, it's the COUNTY hospitals and ERs that can't....urgent care is different. if you need treatement, you need to go to county ER

  • urgent care is considered a regular dr so yes you either have to have the cash or the insurence
    if you need to go to the dr asap go to the er

  • If you don't have insurance, all you have to do is offer to pay them. You don't need insurance to get medical care.

  • if you done have insurance and can't pay up front, urgent care will not see you. you'll have to go to the county ER- they can not deny you treatment.
