Why is it called a "drive through" if you have to stop?

  • Lately I call them the drive thru and park to wait then drive a little more and park and wait some more. Seems like everytime I go thru one no matter how small the order is I always get asked to pull around to the front and wait. If I wanted to park in a spot I wouldnt have used the drive thru.
