(This is stemming from another post.) Ive always wondered why women were not allowed in combat but I thought it was maybe because of rape, which can happen to men as well. I also thought it might have to do with her menstrual cycle?
What is the reason? Is there even a reason?
I am constantly amazed by the lack of information on the internet!
Please take a few moments and do some research; you will find history is FULL of female warriors who were just as brave; just as prodigious on the battle field as their male counterparts. Not only were women on the battle field; some of them led the men into the fray.
Please don't buy into the hype that you can not be as strong/tough/resilient as a man. Men come in all sizes just as women do; yes some men will be larger and some will not the guys have to face that same fact.
Gailll on pg 1 has it right; because our gov't decided that our society did not want to see women; mothers come home in body bags. They were needed to stay here and raise the kids and support the men; to keep up morale. If women started dying in a foreign war the public outcry for the end of said war would have been deafening.

I THINK part of the reason is that its a distraction to the men. Men are going to try and protect the woman even to their own detriment. Also, the consequences of what can be done to a woman caught on the front lines is worse than a man.

Women are not as strong as men physically. Some things are just physics not gender bias.
