Are you a good singer?

I used to think I was. I was in chorus and everything. (I remember being really pissed that I was a contralto, all the "popular" girls were sopranos, lol!) Now I'm much more modest.

  • According to everyone else yes I am. BTW Contraltos rock. Hardest part in all the chorus. We cross all the other parts. Sopranos just sing the melody.

  • Even my kids don't like my singing. When they were little, we'd snuggle up and I'd sing, and they'd cover my mouth with their little hand, as if to say, "Please mama, Don't!"

  • I'm probably one of those people Simon Cowell would just look at me like "Why are you here?" and then say something pretty mean, lol. I don't care, I sing anyway. My 16mth old LOVES it. :)

  • I like to think so, but who knows anymore.
I was a soprano in high school and did several solos, but now I am an alto and have a difficult time hitting those high notes.
I just sing for pleasure now....not for any other means.
