Once baby is down to 1 nap a day, I heard some sleep from 12 to 3pm...

When do they eat lunch? With the 2 snacks a day and do you space out the meals?

  • what time does he wakes in the morning? mine wakes up at 8am. so, snacks around lunch at noon. 11h30 would be early for him. That;s why I was wondering...

  • just make lunch in place of the snack if you want him down by 12 then give a snack as soon as he wakes.

  • You don't really have to do a certain amount of snacks either.

  • Something to consider. The number of snacks he needs/wants may also vary. I seldom gave my son a morning snack because he didn't seem to need it. (He got up between 7 and 7:30.) He also ate a better lunch without it. I tended to give him lunch around 11:30. He went down for his nap around 12:15 or so. He was typically up by 2:30 (a 3 hour nap was almost unheard of in our world!) He'd have an afternoon snack around 3 or 3:30 which would get him until dinner. As he's gotten older (he's now 2 1/2) he won't eat when he first gets up so "breakfast" have moved later in the morning pushing everything back a bit. We're now at more of a 12:15 lunch with a 1:00 naptime. So, you'll find that you'll probably need to keep adjusting over the next few months as you get use to the single nap.

  • whenever he's hungry. my daughter was on a good schedule of eating at 11 and napping from 11:30 - 2:30. Sometimes she'd eat after her nap and go to sleep early. Lunch doesn't have to be at noon.

  • Mine ate breakfast around 7am, mid morning snack, lunch around 11:30 or noon (then down for their nap), snack when they wake up, supper around 5:30 or 6pm.

Oh, that's the same schedule they have now! LOL

  • mine eats lunch at 11 and naps at 12. We wake up early here though around 7. and we only do a snack after nap time, not in the morning, he naps until around 230-3 and we eat around 530-6 he goes to bed at 8 830
