  • OP here............ it is not me it is my autistic daughter........she doesn't understand why she needs to spend money.....she hoards everything and I keep telling her to spennd it but she cannot grasp the concept......she is AUTISTIC

  • They may litigate and cut off assistance. I would try explaining it to your daughter again. Perhaps there are purchases that she could make to 'spend down' that would be to her advantage anyway. Maybe if you explain it this way and detail things that she needs that would make her life better it would make more sense to her?
