  • I often give my kids dessert, but not every night and some nights it can be something like an apple.

  • Fruit is our dessert most of the time a couple of times a week a cookie or an ice cream, I am kind of bad about popsicles, I let him have them 3 or 4 times a week, but they are pretty low cal, and only after a healthy snack!

  • I give her dessert every night. Her dessert can either be fruit or cookies and milk, ice-cream or a popsicle.

  • We rarely ever have dessert. The only times really are birthdays and around the holidays we have stuff like pie and apple crisp available. Every other day of the year they get no dessert. There is usually no eating after dinner.

  • Only after dinner. It's called dessert but most nights it's just a snack and only if he eats an excellent dinner.

  • Only after dinner. They do have a snack 5 or 6 nights of the week, whether its something sweet or a fruit or something. Tonight we are making "gingerbread houses" using low fat graham cracker squares, vanilla frosting, jelly beans, and oreo cookie 100 calorie snack packs (as tiles for the roof lol). Normally they have either a homemade sweet like homemade cookies or fruit crisp, or graham crackers with cream cheese, etc. We eat really really healthy for all the other meals and snacks, so I think a treat a day is not horrible.

  • Not very often. I used to occasionally bake cookies and put them in their school lunches but it was rare that I made a dessert for the family. My DH didn't like desserts and I didn't want to load up my kids with sugar. ;-)
