39 weeks fetal movment???

I had a non-stress test this morning which i have twice a weeks and is usualy very active...but today he didnt move at all when i was on the moniter...the lady told me if i had felt him move much today and i said no i hadnt felt him move since i got up at 8 and the monitering was at 9...she told me that i need to be keeping track of that and if he isnt moving much i need to call them or go right down to L/D well i have not felt him much at all today...its sopossed to be something like 10 kicks an hour im lucky to get 1 MAYBE 2...what do u thinks going on or what i should do???

  • porb is im waiting for my mom to get home to use a phone there is no phone here...why would it be time to induce???

  • He might be in postition & can't move around as much, there may be something wrong & they may need to get him out. Go to neighbor & call your dr NOW

  • Babies generally slow down at the end of pregnancy. HE/she needs his/her rest for the big event. Follow your babies cues, and rest up as well.You are about to go on the most amazing adventure! As long as you can count 10 movements in 2 hours you are fine. If you don't feel normal call the dc Congratulations.

  • Call you doctor and if he says everything is fine than its probably due to the baby growing and having such little space to move. Also the baby may be awake while you are asleep.
