Have you ever been cooking something in the oven and opened it and the oven heat wave was so hot it melted your mascara and made your lashes stick together? I feel like such a dork! lol

  • I have singed my eye lashes

I have heated my contacts up so much they fell out

and sometimes I fog up my glasses and I can't see what I'm doing.

The oven is a dangerous place.

  • Yep, happened all the time when I worked at the Pizza Hut as a teenager. I also used to wear a gold chain (this was in the 80's) and when I would reach in to get a pizza the chain would heat up and then burn the crap out of my neck.

  • I have fogged up my glasses and pulled out my glass pan onto what I thought was the counter, only to have the dish and supper crash all over the kitchen. So I hear ya, I am a dork for life.....LOL
