Cont. Then there the story of the prophet in the OT that went to a widow to he asked for something to eat. for at that time it was custom to feed your guests before you feed your self. She refused at first because she just had enough for her and her son. She was planning on feeding the last to herself and her son, then they were going to die. The prophet told her to basically just do it and you will not go hungry. She finally gave in and believed all three of them ate for a year from her little stock pile. All because she gave in and believed and gave. So give what you can even if it's extra cans of food for the food bank, or helping someone who really need your help. Even offering to clean the Church for free so they don't have to pay someone to it. The list goes on. That is giving to God what is God's.

No where in the bible does it tell you that you must tithe. That's just in the churches plan to squeeze what they can out of you & to help pay for the building & salaries.
