What's the best natural fever blister treatment out there?

  • Seriously...the only thing that really works cream-wise is Abreva. It actually prevents the herpes virus from infecting healthy cells that are nearby, and it shortens the healing time. While I haven't had a cold sore in a long time :knock on wood:, I always used Abreva, and it would heal SO quickly. It is fairly expensive, though...about $16 for a little tube...but that's bc it works!

  • Abreva is not natural. It's petroleum based and I won't use it. I need something natural. Like lysine, only something I would usually have in the house.
