  • lots of homebirth midwives will have them available for rent... some people just buy kiddie pools, and then some people order them online. google birth tub or birth pool. :) gl!

  • I have seen many water births on the Discovery channel and TLC and the Moms are sitting in their opwn bath tubs. That seems like a good idea.

  • The big birthing tubs are better than the bath tubs. They are soft (easier on your knees if you want to labor/push on all fours) and much bigger and deeper than a bath tub. Most midwives will rent them too you or you can rent or buy one yourself. Often buying one costs about as much as renting one.

You can buy one here :http://www.waterbirthsolutions.com/Inflatables_Compared_IEPA.html

Just google Birthing tub rentals and ton of sites will come up.
