Would you/do you let your kids watch music videos?

We don't watch music channels that often but if I happened on one, I would probably let my children watch them.

its funny that you ask this because at thanksgiving my 11 yr old sister was watching a lady gaga video & doing her dance moves & i started thinking, like i hope she doesnt think she should dress and act like lady gaga because i dont want my sister to be a little hoochie slut. so i said to her "you know, you should dress or act like how she does in those videos right? shes pretty much acting when she does that. she gets paid to do that. in real life, if you act like that, other girls wont like you and guys wont treat you with respect" and she said "i know" and then we went on to have a conversation about it and i think she really does hear me. when my kids grow up, i dont plan on sheltering them from too much. obviously they wont be watching porn, but im not going to keep them from watching mtv or other things kids watch. thats the way the world is these days, and theres no way to change it. but i am always going to guide my

My DD is too young but I think some videos go beyond art and are just marketing ads. I love the sound track channel.

children and tell them my opinions on how people act, and hopefully they turn out good people no matter what they watch on tv.

We dont watch them. When they are teens, maybe I will but thats like 10 yrs down the road so its not something I think about at this point.

If I dont watch it...they dont. If I dont like it...they wont see it.

Since Im not a big video music person...we dont watch any.
