Obama can accept the NPP but not attend most of the events related to this event?

Thanks for the gift...gotta run!

Norwegians incensed over Barack Obama's snubs

"The White House has cancelled many of the events peace prize laureates traditionally submit to, including a dinner with the Norwegian Nobel committee, a press conference, a television interview, appearances at a children's event promoting peace and a music concert, as well as a visit to an exhibition in his honour at the Nobel peace centre."

"He has also turned down a lunch invitation from the King of Norway."

Way to keep those international relationships alive!

  • Don't forget he has to prepare for Copenhagen where he will ignore ALL the false data and manipulation of scientific research and say that the US needs to spend trillions of dollars to raise utility costs, pay Al Gore and his cronies TONS of taxpayer money and risk losing jobs to other countries who will manufacture for less money and little env. restrictions. That's pretty important "stuff"... Other Presidents didn't even waste taxpayer money to make the trip when they won. Of course they weren't in love with themselves as much as BO... He is so vein, he thinks the world is about him..

  • It's pretty clear that some people would find something wrong with everything he does. It seems your one of them.

No. Not just little ol' me, but 44% of NORWEGIANS! Go ahead, and TRY to read the article!

"According to a poll published by the daily tabloid VG, 44% of Norwegians believe it was rude of Obama to cancel his scheduled lunch with King Harald, with only 34% saying they believe it was acceptable."

  • Um, who, besides Norwegians, care WHAT they think. You people will always find something to complain about when it concerns him. It's laughable and really pathetic.

How pathetic to be calling someone pathetic for not going to some parties, which he wasn't obligated to do, and never said he would
