My kids eat lunch at school except for DD she's in half day kindergarten. But when they are home, we have things like peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, ham and cheese sandwiches, lower sodium ramen noodle (very seldom), grilled cheese and lower sodium chicken soup, homemade chicken noodle soup, spaghetti with homemade low fat low sodium sauce, or cereal. For dinner we all eat the same thing, we all eat at the same time. We like to have turkey chili with cornbread, homemade burritos/soft tacos (made on soft corn tortillas with lots of chopped veg, ground turkey, and black beans), roast chicken and vegetables, roasted turkey tenderloins and sweet potatoes, chicken vegetable stir fry with homemade sauce and rice, grilled chicken sandwiches, or chicken breast seasoned with various Mrs Dash and grilled served with steamed brussel sprouts and grilled corn.
