Wiccan Wedding ???? A question for those of you who are practicing wiccans.

Okay, so I'm NOT wiccan. I am 100% Christian, but I have an old frind who is getting married in June, and she is wiccan. I am attending her wedding and I would like to get her a small gift. Like I said, I'm christian, so the stuff I'd normally buy like prayer plaques or things with scripture verses about marriage won't mean that much to her. I want to get her something that will mean alot to her and reflects her life, not mine. So any of you ladies out there that are practicing wiccans, help me out here. What can I buy her that reflects her beliefs and celebrates her marriage???

  • I can't really say what your friend might like because I don't know her or her specific path, but I think this would be PERFECT for a Wiccan couple because it is symbolic of the blending and balancing of male and female energies in Wicca: http://www.dryaddesign.com/index.php/prod_detail_shopping/chalice_blade/
I also like practical gifts like cauldrons/cooking pots http://www.sacredmists.com/kiwico.html
If she uses a lot of herbs, you could by a nice mortar and pestle
    Or how about a Goddess blanket/throw: http://www.sacredmists.com/home-and-hearth-bedding-sets.html

  • If you go to a local metaphysical shop they have lots of beautiful things in there. You can also look online for gifts. A good one is something like a fairy figurine, large crystals, chalaces. They also have many plaques for earth based religions. You can try

I think you are a good friend to want to get her a gift for her beliefs.  You can at least look at the catalogs online to get an idea.

  • I found several sites that you might like... most items won't be of the Pagan fashion, but they are Unique and you may find something that fits your friend and her new husband...

  • I'll check out those websites. Thank you so much for your suggestions. I'll have to do my shopping online. There are no shops in this realm in my area.

  • I would suggest a pink rose quartz crystal, perhaps in pendant form. This stone represents pure and unselfish love and is an appropriate gift for any expression of love, from a hand-fasting to a new baby's dedication.
