How many hours a week do you work out?

Meaning: weight lifting, running/jogging, swimming, skating, playing a sport, rock climbing, pilates, yoga, etc.

Not meaning: house work, chasing kids, walking across the parking lot to McDonalds, etc. (not saying these things don't take effort, but I'm looking for more "structured activities/workouts".)

  • um lemme try to add it up, lol. i rockclimb a minimum of 2 hours a week, try to do 4 hours a week though (on a good week maybe more!). i lift weights probably a total of 4-5 hours a week. take a 90 minute bikram yoga class on sundays. and try to do 2-3 hours of some form of cardio. so thats... 9-13 ish hours depending on the week i guess :) man i wish my body reflected that!

  • Wow, 9-13 rocks! I feel pretty awesome when I get in 7 hours! I get a lot more in in the summer though.

  • I average 7-12 hours a week. This week is way less because I have some upper respiratory crud that's draining me. I only work out at night time. I alternate workouts. I do kick boxing, punching bags, speed bag, jump rope, elliptical machine, running and occasionally some weights. I run in marathons whenever they come up. During the summer time I play softball with my old high school team. I really wish I could get back into coaching volleyball, but it makes my schedule to hectic.

  • 4-12 hours per week. I'm pregnant and sometimes I throw up and have to stop or skip.
