Big Bang Theory

Who believes this could happen? If you do or do not what is your religion? and do you think this theory could work with evolution? Do you know when this theory started and who proposed it?

  • I didn't really see the answers to the above question on the link--but I only the fist page and left when talk of the shape of the earth started. that wasn't what I was curious about.

  • I believe it could have happened and it goes hand in hand with evolution.
    I'm not sure when this theory was first proposed....will need to look that up:)

  • Oh, I didn't answer the last part of your question. The idea that the universe was created by swirling matter was first presented by Immanuel Kant in the late 18th Century. But Sir Isaac Newton who was the greatest physicist of all, firmly believed that the universe was brought into existence by a creator.


    The reason this theory makes sense is because we know that the universe is expanding, so it had to all begin in one place. I personally believe in the verses in the Bible that say that God spread out the universe.
