Which denominations celebrate service @midnight Christmas morning?

just wondering, the other question got me thinking.

  • well, im catholicand we always went to midnight mass when i was growing up, it was one ofthe few times during the year i got to stay up that late, but recently i would say within the last ffew years our church hasnt done midnight mass, it was alot earlier, i think they did one at seven and one at ten.....hope this helps!

  • Episcopals do it too! I used to love going to midnight mass. But now - well I've become a non-believer. So we don't go anymore.

  • A few years back when Christmas day landed on a Sunday, most (not all) of the protestant churches closed and did not have their Sunday morning services. It was so bizarre to me because we have Christmas mass no matter what day of the week.
