  • my pediatrician told me something similar. she said by 6 months your baby should double their birthweight and by 1 year should triple it. my daughter is 6 montns and weighs 14lbs 10 oz

  • i heard it was good, but maybe it depends on the size of baby? my son was 9 lb 6 ounces at birth and at three months he was 15 pounds, that's hardly double. but maybe the same rule doesn't apply for big babies cause the doc said he was healthy.
