why wont my 6 month old take a cool bottle???

  • He/she just may not be ready. My daughter didn't drink cool bottles until almost 1.

  • they don't like cold. try warming it up in a bottle warmer or the microwave(for about 15-30 seconds in the microwave)

  • My 5 month old wont either. He used to but one nite the sitter warmed it and now he wont...i think it may be tummy soothing warm.

  • because a baby is not biologically made to take cool drinks. Formula is a substitute for breast. Breastmilk from the tap is warm. And so it makes sense baby needs warm. Stop being so lazy!!!

  • i want to give her water i dont mind giving her warm formula or just breastfeeding, but warm water?mmmm.. kinda gross

  • it could be cuz after she/he started using a bottle u made them warm my lil girl has always had cool bottle after a few months and she still gets cool bottles

  • is it because up until 5 months she was exclusivley BF? it jus stinks when your out running errands and have to find sumwhere to warm a bottle...

  • My son would not take anything from a bottle cold. No matter what it was, he would however drink cold juice from a sippy. Some babies just won't.
