Our 16 month old knows where his private parts are - for example if I ask him where his penis (or peesh, which is what we call it for now) is, he points down there or to it when he has his diaper off. The problem is that his dad and I disagree on what we should be calling and teaching him to call his testicles.
* Obviously, we will teach him the technical terminology for everything when he is a little older; but for now he is so young and we want to keep it simple and easy for him to say.
The word testicles is so long and hard to speak. I want him to be able to verbalize that part of his body when he needs. But I feel like there are no "nice" words for that body part without getting silly. My husband has always referred to them as B*lls (not sure if I can write that on here). And my son actually says, "My B*lls." I am not really happy with this, even if I get a chuckle out of it. But N*ts are no better! Help!
