why does she cry like this?

by all means, i am not complaining, i love my baby soo much. but she's been on this crying streak ever since she was born, we figured it was just colic and it'll go away on it's own but now she's 7 months old and i can't get anything done with out holding her or putting her into a wrap. if i put her down she'll cry until i come and pick her up, she'll even cry when i hand her off to her father. am i doing something wrong? what's going on?

  • Sounds like separation anxiety, this too shall pass hun, just enjoy the fact she can't do without you for before you know it she will want nothing to do with you!

  • Ok You are mommy!!! Enjoy it while it last because later she will want nothing to do with you and only want daddy. But more than likely she is teething or ear infection or like the PP she just wants you and it is seperation anxiety. If you take her to the doctor and nothing is wrong then she just wants her mommy.

  • whew! Sounds exactly what i went through! Check her gums see if you can see anything coming in, Try those natural teething tablets, I bought one of those teething pacifiers cant think of the name but they worked great. My baby had colic so bad it was awful. Could still have colic? Try gas drops? She might be going through a growth spurt and starting to be more hungier? have you up'd your ounces of milk? baby food? So many different reasons!

  • You are not doing anything wrong by holding her lots and lots! She is just a "high need" baby who needs to be close to mom. Keep meeting her need to be close to you and pretty soon she will be pushing you away and you'll be chasing after her!
