Why is it so hard to get a baby to stick to a set time of sleep?

I finally got our daughter back on to her nights. She some how will make herself switch them around.
Right now I am trying to get her to take her morning nap so that she stays on her sleep pattern but all she wants to do is fuss.
Why does she switch herself around? I just dont get it? Should I just let her fuss her self to sleep ?

Oh she is 7 1/2 months old

  • Yes let her fuss herself to sleep. I have to do that with my 6 month old too.

  • Yes, let her fuss herself to sleep. Habits are learned and she is still adjusting. Give her time and stay consistent.
