Is babe only for woman to be called?

This guy told me that he doesn't like to be called babe because that's something that only a man should say to a woman.

  • I call my husband Babe too, I guess it is just a personal preferance. I know some women who HATE being called babe.

  • My DH calls me babe. I call him Slutty Jones haha! I've never been a "pet name" giver though. Slutty Jones is a joke name I gave him

  • I call SO "Babe" and he's hard core military, special ops. He doesn't say anything about it being something you call just a woman. Next time, don't call him Babe, call him Idiot and see if that suits him better. (Ok that was mean of me but I only meant it to be funny)
