Cracked and chapped lips?

my 3 1/2 month old baby has really back cracked and chapped lips. I don't know what's ok to put on them. what did you put on your babies lips? it's getting really bad and he's even bleed a little.

  • I put A&D ointment on Nina's lips. The yellow kind not the white one. It works great, but it doesn't smell that great.

  • I would avoid anything with petroleum; I can't imagine letting a baby eat that.
    Coconut oil or vitamin e oil will work fine.

  • anything you can put on a dry cracked nipple, you should be able to put in a baby's lips. lanolin, vegetable oil
