My 10th month old swallowed a little piece of gum, he seems fine...will his body digest it ok?

It wasn't a whole piece, just a little one and my dh was letting him taste it by holding it up to his mouth...well like most babies he has got the sucking down pat, and there it went.

  • Yup. He'll be fine. When my sister was about that age, or maybe 1...she ate a whole roll of my Bubble tape. It was gross cause when it came out (only a day or 2 later) it came out excactly like chewed up gum...not digested or anything and her diaper was stuck to her butt (I was like 6 and thought it was hilarious. lol) but she was totally fine.
