My baby's privates smell

I bathe her regularly, I wipe her well at diaper changes, and she doesnt have any type of infection. Should I use scented wipes? Would that help? She is about a year old.

  • No chemical or perfume; they can make the problem worse, If you use disposable diapers rather than cloth, they hold in heat and moisture and don't let the area breathe.

    NO POWDER, NO LOTION.

Wipe her with a cloth wipe with plain water (cheap baby washcloths are fine), fan the area to dry, the apply the disposable diaper. Give her some diaper free time too.

You may also want to look into a different diaper.

  • Scented wipes are great.. maybe i would call a DR though and find out that nothing is going on inside.. They will probably have other suggestions for you too! Good luck!
