I cashed out my 401k early this year, but the paperwork was lost during a move. Will Merrill Lynch reissue me what I need for taxes if I call and ask?

  • I would think they would. You should be able to get their information from your previous employer if you do not have it.

  • They will send you a form to use for your taxes. I hope that you had them hold out at least 25%; otherwise you will get hit with a huge amount of penalty and interest.
