Do those "Shape-Up" shoes really work?

I want a pair for Christmas so bad! I was wondering if anyone else had them and whether or not you felt they helped perk up your backside. No butt exercise I do does the trick for me anymore!

  • I don't have them but i've heard you can definitely tell they work because your butt hurts after walking around in them all day. Bad because your butt hurts, but GOOD because there is a reason it hurts. I want some too.

  • You can get shoes just like them at K-Mart or Sears for under $20 that my orthopedic doctor really liked for my feet problems. I have been wearing them for 6-8 months. They are good for people that have plantar fasciitis. I don't think they have done anything for my butt or legs. Sometimes they hurt my back and knees.

It's not good if they hurt.

  • They gave me terrible leg cramps! they make you walk funny and it gives you sore muscles.

  • I want the Reebok Easytones - I think they look better. But I don't want them to walk, I want them to jog and you cannot jog in them *sigh*

  • I'd rather have a flabby ass than wear them. They're ugly and cost too much.

  • I wear Fitflops all summer long because they are incredibly comfortable. I don't think they do much to tone, though.
