My contractions are consistently about 12 mintues apart....

Do you think they are braxton hicks and will go away, or will they eventually get closer together?

  • If you get up and walk around and drink water they should go away if they are braxton hicks. If they are real walking will generally make them come on faster :)

  • Keep timing them, if they become closer and stay regular then it might be a good idea to head to the hospital. GL
Oh and do they feel like they're coming from your back and then around to the front? If so I'm thinking those are the real thing..

  • Lay down and relax drink lots of water. If they go away then ya it was braxton hicks. If not then you may be headed toward the end. Congrats.

  • They're real if nothing you do makes them change. I.e., if you walk around, lie down, drink lots of water, change position constantly, and they keep coming consistently, they're probably the real thing. Just keep on keeping track of them. :)
