Anyone know a good steak mariade?

I want to make steak for dinner,but just to add a little more flavor I wanted to try a marinade....any suggestions?

  • I love the Jack Daniels brand marinade
    I have used this before
    1 tabkespoon sugar
    1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram leaves
    1/2 teaspoon pepper
    1/2 cup dry red wine
    2 tablespoons olive oil
    2 tablespoons soy sauce
    2 tablespoons dijonmustard
    2 cloves garlic , minced
    Mix it all together and marinade for 4 hours

  • Take the steaks out of the fridge about 30 minutes before cooking. Drizzle with olive oil, salt, pepper and chopped garlic...do on both sides. Cover with plastic wrap and let sit on counter for 30 minutes and then cook. This will make even a cheap cut of steak tender. I got this idea from a cooking show and it works wonders.

  • I was also going to suggest the Jack Daniel's marinade. I like the mesquite flavor best.

  • i like to use just plain ole italian dressing to marinate mine. sooo yummy!

  • I dont eat steak, but i eat alot of chicken and I LOVE the taste of steak sause so i put it on my chicken! lol.. one of my favorites its Moores marinade.. its delish!

  • I like DR Pepper, ketchup, mustard, garlic, olive oil, salt, pepper, and onion, you can use sugar free Dr Pepper, mix them all together about 1/2 cup of each and marinate in fridge for about 4 hours, yummy!

  • 1/4 c. worcestershire sauce
    1 1/2 tbs lemon juice
    1 tbs vegetable oil
    2 tbs chopped garlic (yes TABLESPOONS)
    1/2 tsp pepper
    1 tbs fresh thyme leaves
