Anyone know any home remedies for a cold in a 9 month old?

He has a runny nose and has been coughing. Sounds kindly congested in his chest. Anyone know anything I can do at home to help his cough without having to take him to the doctor?

  • Steam helps. Simmer a pot of water on the stove to put moisture into the air. You can add a slice of lemon, grapefruit, or any other type of fruit with a peel to add a scent if you wish. You can sit in the bathroom with him, door shut, and shower running on hot. Let the room fill up with steam, that'll help. Vicks vapor rub isn't a home remedy, but it will help.
