why do some people find faults in things?

why cant they just say "it was an accident" or "i will replace it" and then move on?

why do some people need to dig so hard to find the fault in things and then go for the blame?

  • It's easier to disregard then to own up to it. Pushing it off as something unimportant takes a lot less courage and balls then to just say "I'm sorry" and own up to it.

  • "I'm sorry" are the two hardest words to say. It's hard for me to even say it was an accident. I was scraping my car windows w/my FIL's scraper and it broke. I felt bad, even thought it was a one dollar scraper. The fact that it wasn't mine was what got to me, not the scraper.

  • "A man can fail many times, but he isn't a failure until he begins to blame somebody else. "
